2018 Jack-The-Horse Cabin Rates

Peak season is June 2-August 10. Low season is May-June 1 & August 11-October. Maximum No. of Guests includes children. **SPECIAL**  Take 10% OFF each additional week for vacations over 1 week in length during peak season.

* Two night minimum required for Lakeview or four night minimum required for all other cabins from June 2 – August 10. Weekly rentals during peak season are Saturday to Saturday but occasionally exceptions can be made – please inquire directly. No pets allowed – Cabins are non-smoking – Camping and tents are not allowed on property

-All cabin rates are based on 2 guests.
-Additional guests are $20/night or $95/week.
-Kids 2 years old & under are FREE!
-Plus 6.875% MN tax and 3% lodging tax.

Watercraft Rates

A private dock is included with each cabin rental.

Bringing Your Own Boat? Guests staying at JTH Resort and bringing their own boat, may use the resort’s private boat launch for free. Guests bringing a boat must adhere to Minn. laws regarding safe transport – Your boat will be inspected  by resort mgmt. before it can be put into Jack The Horse Lake. You must do the following prior to inspection: (1) Watercraft, boat trailers and water-related equipment must be clean and free of all  plants & species (2) Keep your drain plugs out during transport – All water related equipment must be drained (3) Dispose of unwanted bait in the trash – it is illegal to release bait into a waterbody or move from one waterbody to another

Resort guests are not allowed the following: No water skiing – No tubing – No jet skiing

ATV use is not allowed on JTH Resort property or private roads

Reservation Information

Arrival/Check-in is between 3-7 PM
Departure/Check-out is by 9 AM *Departure/Check-out for Lakeview cabin is 10 AM

$300 non-refundable deposit per week required for cabins / $50 non-refundable deposit per week required for watercraft.

Remaining balance is due upon arrival / Lakeview cabin balance is due immediately to reserve cabin (non-refundable)

Any of your visitors to Jack-The-Horse Resort must be approved by management in advance – Additional fees apply for daytime or overnight visitors and cabin’s maximum occupancy must be adhered to at all times.  No camping or tents allowed on property. Please read our list of Resort Guidelines (below) before booking your vacation

Resort Guidelines

To ensure an enjoyable vacation for our all of our resort guests, please take a moment to read these Jack-The-Horse Resort Guidelines. Thank you!

No Smoking / No Pet Policy: No smoking is allowed in cabins. Pets are not allowed on resort property either by guests or day visitors to the property.

Garbage: Guests are responsible for disposing of garbage before departure. There is 1 garbage dumpster and 2 recycle bins located across from the fish cleaning house. All items MUST be bagged for recycle bins. Recycle bins are designated for (1) plastic and cans (2) paper. Please do not litter.

Prior to Departure: Before leaving, please remember to dispose of all trash at garbage dumpster, wash and put away all dishes, and return any items taken from the office. Guests are not required to stop by the office but please leave cabin unlocked and keys inside your cabin.

Fish Cleaning: There is a fish cleaning house and pit for fish remains located behind the garage.

Boating Docks: Each cabin has a designated private dock – please only use your dock. The large main dock at the beach may be used by all resort guests.

Parking: Please park vehicles & boat trailers in your cabin’s designated parking place. If additional parking is needed please contact staff. Parking at the resort is only allowed during the time of your reservation. Parking prior to check-in time or after check-out is not permitted.

Visitors: Only registered guests are allowed on resort property. Please contact management for approval of visitors.
Noise: Due to the peaceful nature of our resort, please be considerate of other guests. Fireworks are not allowed.

ATV’s: We do not allow ATV use on resort property or private roads.

Daily Boat/Pontoon Rental: Daily rentals are from 9 AM-9 PM. Please contact staff for daily rentals the day prior to rental.

Boating: Please be courteous on the lake. No jet skiing, water skiing or tubing is allowed on Jack-The-Horse Lake.

Campfire: There is 1 campfire pit for resort guests located at the beach. Complimentary wood can be used from the shed near the One Way sign. Campfires should be attended at all times and extinguished with water after each use. Please extinguish campfire by 12 AM.

Life Jackets: Please use life jackets located in the office. According to Minnesota law, boats must contain 1 life jacket per individual on board and be within reach. Children under 10 years old are required to wear a life jacket. Please return life jackets to the office before check-out.

Motor Mix: Please contact us for additional motor mix – using your own will damage our motors.

Canoe/Paddle Boat/Funyaks: Items are free of charge and located at the beach. Canoe paddles are in the office. Please use items for 0-2 hours at a time and return for other guests to use.

Beach: We do not have a lifeguard on duty – please do not swim alone. Please pick up any personal belongings from the beach daily.

Creek Fishing: If you would like to fish at the creek, please walk from the resort and watch for cars – no parking is allowed.

Wifi: Free wifi is available in the office.
