Summer & Fall 2018 Driving Directions: Portions of Highway 38 from Grand Rapids to Marcell are undergoing improvements this Summer & Fall 2018. We recommend taking this alternate route to reach Jack The Horse Resort without delay!
-From Grand Rapids, drive WEST on Hwy 2 for ~14 miles to Deer River, MN
-Turn right onto Hwy 6 going NORTH (turn is located after Northern Star Foods) and drive ~20 miles
-Turn right onto MN 286 / 4 (You’ll notice Talmoon, MN – landmarks are Hayslips Corner and Little Turtle Lake Store)
-Drive ~4 miles to Marcell, MN
-At stop sign, turn left onto MN 38 going NORTH and drive ~2 miles
-Turn right onto Jack The Horse Lake Road (landmark is Timberwolf Inn sign) and drive ~1 mile
-Turn right onto Jack The Horse Resort Road and follow signs to the resort ~1/2 mile
GENERAL LOCATION: Marcell is approximately 3.5-4 hours north of Minneapolis/St. Paul. Jack-The-Horse Resort is located 29 miles NORTH of Grand Rapids, MN on Scenic Highway 38.
