High Season >> 4 night minimum required for most cabins (2 night min for Lakeview, 1 week min for Aspen). Weekly rentals are Saturday to Saturday for most cabins (Fri-Fri for Aspen) *Occasionally exceptions can be made – please inquire directly.

Low Season >> 2 night minimum required for most cabins (4 night min required for Aspen) 3 night min required during Memorial & Labor Day wknd No pets allowed – Cabins are non-smoking – Camping and tents are not allowed on property – No ATV use on resort property or private roads – No hunting or shooting

-All cabin rates are based on 2 guests.
-Additional guests are $20/night or $100/week.
-Kids 3 years old & under are FREE!
-Plus 6.875% MN tax and 3% lodging tax.

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible. As a small, seasonal business we have limited availability and appreciate the chance to make up a portion of the lost reservation. Deposits are non-refundable (regardless of cancellation reason and including any & all COVID-19 restrictions/limitations that may prevent you from staying). However, if you have to cancel, we will apply your deposit payment to another reservation provided it’s for the current year’s resort season.

Watercraft Rates

A private dock is included with each cabin rental (free of charge)

Bringing Your Own Boat? Guests staying at JTH Resort and bringing their own boat, may use the resort’s private boat launch for free (the launch is gravel, not paved and approx. 11 ft wide). Guests bringing a boat must adhere to MN laws regarding safe transport – Your boat will be inspected  by resort mgmt. before it can be put into Jack The Horse Lake. You must do the following prior to inspection: (1) Watercraft, boat trailers and water-related equipment must be clean and free of all  plants & species (2) Keep your drain plugs out during transport – All water related equipment must be drained (3) Dispose of unwanted bait in the trash – it is illegal to release bait into a waterbody or move from one waterbody to another

Resort guests are not allowed the following: No water skiing – No tubing – No jet skiing, etc. 

ATV/OHV use is not allowed on JTH Resort property or private roads

Reservation Information

Arrival/Check-in is between 4-7 PM
Departure/Check-out is by 10 AM

Remaining balance is due upon arrival / Lakeview cabin balance is due immediately to reserve cabin (non-refundable)

Any of your visitors to Jack-The-Horse Resort must be approved by management in advance – Additional fees apply for daytime or overnight visitors and cabin’s maximum occupancy must be adhered to at all times.  No camping or tents allowed on property. Please read our list of Resort Guidelines (below) before booking your vacation
